Despite the weather being a challenge, the fishing overall has been pretty good when the weather allows, with some really nice winter fish in the 10 – 15lb range with a few close to twenty pounds. We are concentrating our efforts along Willow & Shelter Point for winter Chinook fishing between 150 – 250ft of water down 100 – 160ft with anchovies, cut plug herring, Tomic plugs & spoons.
The Lighthouse on the ebb tide has also been pretty good on the back half of the tide, keep gear down just off the bottom again.
For those interested in getting an early start on the 2018 fishing season, just give us a call. The weather is cooler but the fish still bite and the boat heaters are on!
The days are starting to get longer and spring is not too far off. It’s time to start thinking about this year’s vacation and the opportunity to get out for a fishing trip. Whether it’s a family, corporate or a group of friends – pick up the phone and give us a call – I will be happy to answer all of your questions and provide you with all the information for a great trip!
